To try to put into words, my feelings are, We should give aid to North Korea immediately. People are starving, and a generation of children is becoming malformed, and this is nothing new. The United States, as far as I know, is not considering giving aid to North Korea, but other parts of the world are considering giving aid to North Korea conditionally, if their leader agrees to dismantle the country's nuclear weapons. What do I think would happen if we give aid to North Korea immediately? We will save human lives. We can't control whether or not that country chooses to go to war with us. I don't think our contributions will affect their leader's feelings for us, so we don't need to worry about it. We need to worry about what is in our power to do, and what we should do.
